Hurricane Relief Hoe-Down Wrap Up
In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the staff at Darby Woods organized a special event to raise funds for victims of this devastating disaster in Texas as well as Hurricane Irma in Florida. T "Hurricane Harvey Hoe-Down" spirit week from was September 11-15.  Students that were interested in participating could make a contribution of $1 to dress up each day. On Friday, September 15, classes got to participate in celebrating the spirit of Texas with grade level hoe-downs during specials time.
In all, staff and students raised over $1,300 for the American Red Cross!  We will present a check to a representative of this organization at our Virtues Celebration, to be held on October 31.
Thank you to all of the staff, students, and families
for their generosity!
